Dua Lipa (born in London) is an English musician and singer who was born on the 22nd of August 1995 within London United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a several years of hard work. She dropped her self-titled debut album in 2017. It reached the number three spot on the U.K. albums chart and had eight singles, including the U.K. number one song New Rules and Be the One I.D.G.A.F. Lipa was awarded the Brit Award in 2018 as a British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Her album is certified platinum in many countries. Dua Lipa was the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London she was born on the 22nd of August, 1995. By virtue of her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian descent. You can also trace Lipa's ancestral roots through Peja within Kosovo. The two grandfathers of Lipa were historians. Her siblings are Rina and Gjin. Lipa's father, the musician and lead singer from the Kosovan the band Oda has influenced her in a musical way. In the age of nine she learned how to sing. Lipa performed If I Ain't gone You by Alicia Keys, and Beautiful Christina Aguilera. Lipa has signed her first recording agreement in 2014 with Warner Bros. Records. In August of 2015, her debut single New Love came out.
