Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American performer and actor for more than a decade. She received the best recognition for her performance as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton, in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the older sister of Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her graduation from Lake Mary Preparatory School was an address to the class' valedictory in 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she had to agree for her admission a second time because of her Nashville role. Peeples has guest-starred on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin & Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), and played a recurring character on Necessary roughness (1991). Peeples was a regular on television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective and The Good Mother. She was a part of the cast for an important recurring role on an episode of the drama series Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples revealed her bipolar illness in an interview she gave to NKD Magazine. Indiewire has ranked Peeples in the top spot on its list of best actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
